OUR BEGINNING
The name “Draco Dormiens” is a subtle nod to our literary roots while encapsulating the spirit of our team. Just like the sleeping dragon, we might appear calm and collected, but beneath the surface lies a powerful force ready to be unleashed.
A Dragon's Embrace

Hanoi, the city of rising dragons, has always held a special place in our hearts. While our dragon mascot is adorned with wings, a departure from the traditional Vietnamese dragon, it’s a testament to our team’s global outlook. Yet, our choice of the dragon as our symbol is a conscious embrace of our city’s heritage.

Our Colours
Purple and gold – a powerful combination that mirrors Hanoi’s dynamic spirit. Gold, a symbol of prosperity and ambition, aligns perfectly with our team’s goals. Purple, often associated with creativity and royalty, reflects Hanoi’s rich cultural heritage. Interestingly, our choice of these colors predates Hanoi FC’s rebrand in 2018, solidifying our status as trendsetters in the city’s color palette.
